I sometimes reminisce about the “old media” days when reporters smoked cigarettes in the newsroom and authors could straight-up refuse to use e-mail accounts (such as Gay Talese, a bestseller who allegedly refuses to use e-mail)… but times have changed.  Now reporters are ”Twitterers” and authors are bloggers… But then again, blogging is super-fun, so I’m thrilled to announce the launch of my own personal/ professional blog at lizfunk.com/blog.

I’ll be blogging here about my life as a writer, my first book being released this spring (called SUPERGIRLS SPEAK OUT), women’s issues, issues facing teens, media, politics, life in New York City, and getting a grip on my diet Coke and coffee addictions. I overuse the words “sense,” “meh,” ”ironically,” and “exponentially” and I have a ridiculous crush on Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe.  Be warned.
